forged or cast wishbone identity

without looking at part numbers anybody know if theres a year that the wishbones changed? ive got an aby avant on a K plate,must be an early one as it has Procon-ten

Most people assumed that early cars ended up with the cast and later one's got the pressed due to cheaper to make/produce.

do you mean cast/forged is better than pressed?

Mixed view's some people say they are some don't. Afaik pressed is lighter than cast but cast should be stronger i'd have thought.
