from what i have heard, the latest poly bushes where renewed so that they wouldnt squeek anymore. If they are properly fitted with their greace,it will be OK.
However if you ask me,i fitted OEM again front and back as they are quite good and hold on for a long time too.I also have a set for the front extra just in case, but the fitment of the rear ones(all 18 of them!!) made a huge difference!
POLL: Do you have Squeaky Powerflex Wishbone Bushes?
Can you all respond to this Poll?
I want better handling, but I DO NOT want squeeks, it just makes the car sound old and decrepid.

the lateral wheel movement I have with OE bushes is pretty alarming. I'd go poly and keep them lubricated, that's why they squeak, lack of lubrication. Superflex are supposed to be better than Powerflex but pays ya money takes your choice. Not got either so can't vote but will be buying Superflex jobbies when I replace mine.

Fair enough, Maybe my exhaust drowns it out a little!
Ive never ever heard a suspension related squeak from my car. Perhaps a little when i jack up or lower the car, i guess that would prob be the bushes? Never thought of that. But definatly not heard it while driving. Mind you ive had the wishbones on and off whilst doing this conversion and it wouldnt surprise me if they squeak now! Defo didnt before though.

had my superflex on for over a year now, had a few squeeks to begin with but then i was very conservative with the grease as i wasnt sure how much i would have for the last one, ended up with half the tube left, only very slight squeeking, sounded like birds, dissapeard the day i desided that was the last straw and was going to take them off and re-grease them.....as said above as long as they are put on with the right amount of grease they will be fine, and handling improvement is very good

How many design revisions have they had as this has been going on years, with Greg doing the leg work in the early days i believe. Mine sound like an 80 yr old's arthiritic back when he does his stretches on every bump, uneven surface.
They are the design with the pin which has a spiral groove along them and a ring ending the groove at either end.
Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.--:Albert Einstein
Definitely no squeeks on mine, Ive got the powerflex ones, they have a groove machined into them which I put lots of grease,
Great handling but they give a slightly firmer ride.
