I think it's a good thing that KW use the original struts, and not their own stainless version.

Original struts don't bend with normal use, KWs do.

a friends rs2 with KW had the front shock tube completelly broken in 2 and he doesnt recall any harsh bup on the road.He contacted KW and they had no explanation for it.They replaced the shock,but he didnt like the KW and switched back to OEM for front anyway.

I have decided to go with the 2bennet coil program, probably with the koni race shocks and with the camber/caster adjustable strut mounts..
Only thing remaining is to decide the spring rates, anybody got some good advice on that? I use the car on some trackdays and as my daily driver but I don`t mind a stiff ride..

nice, let us know how the 2bennet handles when you have them fitted, I will order the 2bennet coilovers myself.

I have ordered ground control coilovers for my brothers 90 quattro with 250 lb. all around, let's see how it will handle.

I think you should choose somewhere in the 350-400 lb. area for your car and maybe rear harder than front

i have contacted 2bennett myself for info and they said 1020$ +the bilsteins i want for a set of coilovers with lowering capability from OEM to -40mm front and rear and OEM spring rates as well.But mine are on hold for now,as im gathering up for the 18 inch wheels first...+my bilsteins are practially new now.

Yes. I`ve bought and fited the 2b coilovers with koni sport shocks, 350 lbs springs and adjustable top mounts(front). At the same time I fited new blue top mounts(back)
and a farb at the back..
And I love it! very tight and nice..

I belive Breitling had the v3's on his rs2. Got changed due to worn dampers though.
