034 Density Top Mounts - Reviews please!

Anyone care to share their experiences of the 034 Density line top mounts?

Comparative reviews against stock mounts would be helpful

Alex, they look and feel well made and the concept definately suggests they will stand up to abuse better than the blue-tac version from Audi. I hope to get mine on before ADI so i can see on the road and track what they are like...will report back! I'm sure mine are street density...

    Cheers

Don't know whats to say? Only bought them as they won't deform as quickly beyond that there's nothing more to say.

hard to compare old worn mounts with brand new ones.

i have promounts and they feel very good indeed. they cost though but i feel they are worth it. i got the motorsport ones

David - nice one - be be interested to hear what you think

Jamo - IIRC some people reported crisper sterring and better turn-in with pro-mounts, i wondered if there was any noticeable difference with the density mounts other than the obvious longevity value

I'm going to buy some track density mounts I think - not paying the comedy prices of promounts

The problem it's not a scientific review as standard audi mounts last about 6-8 months before deforming, ideally you'd need to compare both from new.

I doubt you will see a difference from new however, it's purely the fact the promounts and 034 mounts will stay at this state for a longer life.

              mounts

I have the street density in the CQ and due to stiff suspension they get a harder time than normal but so far they have lasted well. Unlike the standard offerrings that lasted 18months or so at a time before collapsing. 034 type use same ball race so as long as that isn't the new weak link they should last a long time. Fingers crossed.

I fitted the 034 hard mounts ( back then, there only was one density, the hardest IIRC ) when my stock ones failed a few months after my power upgrade. Supplied then by Corey (Quattronics) BTW.
2 years down the road and they're still perfectly fine, very responsive engine feel. As tight as a ticks *****
Only "negative" is engine vibes come thru the steering at very low revs and really high revs and high speed runs over 200 km/h are more, say, unconfortable...
