    Superflex front subframe bushes.

I'm sorry if this has been up before or if it's a stupid question but i couldn't find it.

There's 2 versions of the front subframe bush kit,

I might be a moron but is it the 12mm kit that applies to the MY94 S2 Coupe?

The S2 is off for the season so I'm going to treat her with some goodies

Yeah, it should be the 12mm ones, mine is a 94 and has 12mm but best take a bolt out and measure it as you never know with Audi don't forget to change the bolts if they're old.

Is the rear subframe the 12mm ones also?

Is there much difference with road noise with subframe and wishbone bushes on poly versions?

does anyone have a picture of these as never seen them before. I've just renewed my fit alloy mounts with another set of alloy ones from Dialynx, didnt realise they did a superflex variant.

I have been waiting a while to do the subframe bushes but didnt want to go with ally ones since I thought these might be too harsh for road use.

there aren't harsh at all IMO though if you're running powerflex wishbones you might get a tad more noise through the carbin. Only seems to sharpen everything up in my experience and have run them for about 6yrs without issue. just putting new ones on the front as have a new front subframe to go on and the current ones are starting to look a bit crusty.

yup, rears are 10mm, got some on the parts shelf at home ready to go on

I've got new Superflex subframe bushes and Powerflex wishbone bushes - no noticeable increase in road noise IMO and everything is much tighter.
The poly subframe bushes are a lot softer than the wishbone bushes BTW

Why oh why don't superflex do forged / avant bushes bah.

Is there a separate bush kit for the rear then? The findings were that the rear bushes were bigger in height than the front IIRC

                        Nice picture!

I will be ordering ARB bushes (26mm for S2 OEM right?), rear & front subframe bush kits tomorrow.

Anyone knows if the Superflex blokes is fast with e-mails?
I've just e-mailed them about the Order Form thingy that seems a bit complex.

The superflex bushes for the front and rear subframe are the same Jamo, its the sleeves which are slightly different.

I found the guy's service very good - one of the ones from my kit was split and he sent a replacement the same day so i didn't have to wait

I've been talking to Mr Superflex about those forged arms, but I can't promise anything.
