    KW suspension - what price?

Chaps, what are people paying on various KW set-ups? I might be able to get a deal on some sets on an exchange basis but just wondered what people are paying atm?

Also, have people done the exchange route before, is that the norm for S2/RS2?

They're on exchange anyway. You send your struts and they modify and send them back. YOu're looking at about £800 for V1 and £1000 for V2s by the time you've paid the strut modification charges and such. Anton has some V2s.

Yes they are on exchange anyway, you pay a deposit i think which you get back when you send in your old stuff.

Prices are nigh on as Andy quoted.

yeah as above....two week lead time, some companys (awesome gti for mine) do a surcharge (400) for those that dont want to wait, i paid £900 delivered about a year and a half ago so i'd say all above prices are not bad, i looked for ages to get the best price.

Anton, do you mind me asking a maybe obvious question, what do you think of the KW set that you have and what did you run beforehand?

How do they compare to H & Rs and say Konis or Bilsteins?

                  Thanks.

                  Kind regards.

Sadly if you are speaking of myself Andy... I just sold the V3's to a guy here in the US. I honestly have no reviews to share because the coils never made it onto the Coupe This money is now bound towards something a little wider, and rarer Ab...t perhaps

They were used and supplied by the infamous Flexx but I do plan to buy a custom kit for my project at a later date now that 034 is a KW dealer.
                    Cheers mis amigos,

Stiggy, I'm starting with some HnRs for now. Much cheaper was looking at KW and the Mance kit but money and health decided otherwise. Just got to use what you got as you have demonstrated with your speed in the 20V.

I was running with what i believed to be H&R due to the design and colour, they came on the car so cannot be sure, and standard shocks, the ride was only slightly harsher to be honest with the shocks turned down, when i put the 17"s on it became quite harsh, still perfectly fine for an everyday car IMHO as for handling they are in another league from my original setup, huge improvement, as you'd expect for £1000!!! however from experience every mount on your suspension will take a battering from these so make sure they are newish OEM as a minimum.
