5x112 hubs drilled to 5x100?

Don't want to drill anything,
although having dual PCD ( 5 x 112 and 5 x 100 ) hubs would be quite handy.
Anyways, I'm presuming that the rear should be easy enough, just use VW discs that are already 5 x 100, and I have a set of VR6 front hubs (5 x 100) which if taken apart could possibly be married to B4 hubs.
Not really sure of all of this, but have all the parts "in stock" already, but before I do anything, I wanted to hear what anyone else thought.
Thanks.
p.s Just looking at the number of views compared to the number of posts for this thread, there seems to be a lot of interested 4 x 108 owners looking to change up to Audi 5 x 112, or maybe even VW 5 x 100?
Thanks again to Jas11n for the posting of the links to his excellent Sooty related thread.

well it would be a mirace if the hubs would fit into the housing. start checking if the bearings of some passats from 90 to 96 are the same as for the audi 80, 75mm od 82mm. than there is the issue of the offset of the hub...Audi Quattro WRComment
