    Hi All, can someone tell me the part number for the 2 bolts & nuts numbered 16 in the pic, are they the same as on the rear? it's for S2 coupe 1991.
    Thanks in advance Condor.

        Part no for 3b

        Hi Big Lee, thanks for your info, not the numbers I was expecting tho, where did you find the info plz? I have bolts for the rear suspension, part no N-100-874-03 (bolts) nuts N-906-350-01,they're 12mm x approx 75mm, just wondering if they are the same bolt but a different p/n as they're for the front?
        Thanks Condor..

          P/n

          Hi Error, thanks for reply, according to the guy at VAG Parts the bolts are 12mm on the front? also the number for the rear you quote (Rear ones are M12 x 75 N 10206501) they claim are obsolete? could it be that the ones I have (N-100-874-01) are for the front?
          I'm becoming more confused than ever now
          Condor.

            Sounds like you spoke to Alan then - the most unhelpful person in existance
            Martyn would know the numbers off the top of his head

            AFAIK all but the very earliest 3Bs used M14 bolts at the front.
            Where used, the M12 bolts are the same front and rear so it doesn't matter.
            IIRC there is a single part number that supplies you one bolt, one washer and one nut - that might be what you've been given.

            I'd check the front bolts before ordering, as my guess would be they're M14 on a 1991 car

            Hopefully Jas will be along in a minute to tell you definitively what you need

              re p/n

              Hi Error, thanks for reply, I also have some 14mm bolts (N90624401 and nuts) which were supposed to be supplied as backup incase the rear turnedout to be 14mm (I'm replacing front and rear struts) as VAG parts didn't know for sure if they are 12mm or 14mm!!!!! anywho if you say it's a 14mm bolt I'd go with your advise, as you say one of the guys at VAG parts is shall we say somewhat less than helpful?? and it appears I didn't get any forum discount either
              Thanks for your help..Condor ...

                    on a 1991, the fronts should M12. They went to M14 in 1992

                          Yup, Mike's right. They changed after a certain chassis number.

                          Up to 8B-M-040-000 they were M12, numbers given by Lee further up the thread;
                          Bolt = N 102 065 01
                          Nut = N 906 350 01,
                          Washer = N 011 531 7.

                          From chassis number 8B-N-000-001 they changed to M14,
                          Bolt = N 906 244 01
                          Nut = N 021 225 3
                          Washer = N 011 534 3.

                          Rear is exactly the same, as in M12, then M14, same part number and same chassis break.
