    Height adjustables for Avant

Has anyone ever found height adjustable kit for the Avant?

I know one of the guys here was talking with Leda but that didn't go ahead as the cost was too great, but anyone else ever found any?? I'm expecting all no's... but you never know...

    Question 2.
    Anyone using Sachs shocks?

Martyn - you missed the KW stand at GTi. They have what you need. Available for the S2 in Coupe, Sedan or Avant format.

KW Variant 1 is adjustable for height
KW Variant 2 also has adjustability for BUMP on the shocks
Sadly the variant 3 with adjustability for rebound isn't listed for S2

They aint cheap, but they do claim to be using much better materials than competitors such that they can sustain rampant TUV and salt-fog tests.

You're probably right. At least KW claims to have the best corrosion resistance. Just thought I'd share what other alternatives there are.

A friend of mine has KW Variante 2:s on his E36 BMW. According to him, they are good, but not as good as Eibach's non-adjustable kit.

E: Too bad there's no Eibachs available for the S2.

List price in their brochure I picked up was ~1100 Euros per kit, and yes I think they do require the original items on exchange basis...

I look forward to the wee badge. I checked the box three times thinking it might of been lost in a wee crack somewhere... but nope.

                    Cheers,

A real p*ss off ! I'll be in the UK 7th June,so i'll try and sort it out then. The shocks dont appear to be bump or rebound adjustable.Front are Bilstein, the rear,I think, are Koni. The bump stop on the rear shocks is actually an Audi part!Maybe I can return the rears and exchange them for the correct ones. They came from a company called Motorsport Wheels via AMD to me.
The price I paid,$2500.00,is good for NZ.The normal retail here would be $3899.00!!

Motorsport Wheels are in Thurrock Essex about 20 miles from me. Chat with AMD and ask if they can arrange for the swap over for you. The price is very high for those in NZ! It sounds like H+R have almost *just* taken OE RS2 parts and made them height adustable! Hope it all works out ok for you...
