Whiteline RARB is for the coupe, you need a neuspeed for the avant.

The Avant rear suspension is the same as the S4's so the Whiteline S4 bar is a straight fit.

I believe this is the one the Q place sold.

Can you confirm the part number of the one you put on your car?

They do one as I've already checked it out, The Neuspeed S4 bar is the one though as it had additional mounts.

The rear subframe is prone to cracking with a larger bar ( See S2avants original Neuspeed thread ) and the additional mounts stop this from happening.

Yeh - I read that, but I cant see why its not possible to beef up the existing mounts? I want to try welding some triangulated flanges to them, see if that helps.

Whiteline do an 18mm replacement for the RS4 so thinking of trying that.......

The existing mounts go directly onto the subframe and the subframe cracks

                            The Neuspeed solution stops this

                              Just IMHO,

[QUOTE=S-Express;372993]Yeh - I read that, but I cant see why its not possible to beef up the existing mounts? I want to try welding some triangulated flanges to them, see if that helps.

The Neuspeed one is made for the job and bolts straight on and does what it says. It's also adjustable.

When you see it in place on an S2 Avant, I doubt you'll be tempted to put in the effort to replicate the brackets yourself?

                              Kind regards.
