    diameter on cast wishbone bushings

hi, what is the diameter of these? because i have 1 bigger and 1 smaller hole in my front cast wishbones first i thought it was a piece of the bushing, but it seems that it is some type of pressed in metal sleeve that has popped out from the controlarm.

    so what is the diameter

One thing i've learned we are way behind the Scandinavians!

Both inner bushings on the front control arms are the same diameter...44.4mm

If one is smaller then you probably have the outer metal peice of the old bushing still inside.

here you got something to think about:

the upper bushing hole is 44mm diameter
the lower bushing hole is 34mm diameter

        no old bushing/ sleeves left

            Got any close up pics?

also, there are only two choices for the control arm bushings 44mm (cast arm) and 37mm (stamped arm).

yes i know that this is seriously wrong, i even have had an mate from VAG to look at it, and it is these sizes on my bushings

              no part nr though.

but u have fixed the problem, milled down an 37mm bushing into 34.2mm

maybe, the car is an import from germany, but it doesent matter really, have milled down an delrin bushing just curious why mine is "wrong" arm
