  • Rear Tie Rods - Avant

I'm needing to replace said items (8A0501530C) on the back of my Avant.
Seems that the ball joints are fine, its just the bushes on the inside that are pooped (they have the ability to control toe in/out).
Very expensive to replace whole arm, so am looking at getting some poly bushes made for the existing arms.
Doing a search on here, it seems no-one has yet resolved this issue.
So, I'm prepared to do some work on this.
I just need to gauge interest as I will go along to a poly bush making company I know in Wrexham and ask them for a price based on quantities - just don't know whether to get a price for 2 or 200!
Just pop a reply down here if you're interested....

Oh and £58.99 each in vat - might as well be £1000 each!!!!

Yep - same part - part number is 8D0 501 530 fits early RS4's, and all other B5 Quattros.
I've compared my knackered one against a mates B5 2.8 quattro and they look identical - so why the part number change????!!!!
Available in 2 days £58.99 each....

                Any sources on these?

I fitted the B5 part and it's too long, so in need of a pair urgently.

                    Hi Ross,
I spoke to my mate at TPS earlier and they are Audi Tradition only @ 92 euros each...apparently they went obsolete just over a year ago then they retailed at £92 plus the vat so about the same price....

                    Sorry its not better news...

                    cheers
                    Mike

B5 will only fit if you also fit the b5 rear subframe.
