    034 top mounts, street density

034 top mounts, street density, totally foooked after 6 months not happy !

They were good when fitted but the drivers side one is now coming through the strut hole in the engine bay and the passenger side one is not far behind it.
Going to email javad and express my feelings

Anyone else have this problem ?

          jumps

have you been doing jumps in the car or poss useing car on roads full of pot holes. as this has happend on our rally car [but worse] and we beleave it was partly due to spring rate being to soft . after abig jump or pot hole the strut will fully compress and the [soft] spring then also fully compress which means the spring then become a solid object [and no longer a spring] but im no expert ray

Did you fit the steel cups that came with the 034 mounts - I'm not sure from your photo but it doesn't look like it.

They support the inside of the rubber which might help but maybe they'd have failed anyway.

Yes that is the steel cup that came with them , I put the little plastic rings on from my old ones that's why they don't look like the 034 ones.

No I've not been doing any jumps
No pot holes either, well no more than the standard ones before them had to endure and they were on the car before I bought it (over 2 years )and were not as messed up as these are

Mmm, I've brought a set of the 034 street density recently but not fitted them as yet...would hope they would last a tad longer than 6 months
