Potential GB - Powerflex missing bushes

Decided to start a fresh thread for this...

Initially I was gauging interest for Avant rear hub carrier bushes to contact Powerflex about developing them. They were very helpful and said that they would look at doing all the bushes we require from them but the higher the interest the faster they will get done.

He has asked for the rear suspension setup from an Avant to be dropped off with him if someone has one? It just has to be one side and would be preferred if it had the top arm that they dont do the bushes for - I cant remember which this is? He would ideally like to keep the suspension for 1 to 2 months as he thinks that if we had good enough interest they could be up and running in around 6 weeks. (for the hub bush to start with )

If someone has one and can drop it off in an Avant, they will pop the car on the ramp and look at the subframes with a view to doing them too.

I have discussed with them doing the following, so if you are interested please copy and paste the entire list and add your name. Feel free to add other bushes not listed.

I had zero interest from them for a poly bush for the rear toe arms for the coupe

Avant subframe is M12 I'd be interested in a complete set price dependant.

A guy called Paul Solbe. obviously a one off is not much interest to them, so the more interest the better.

Jamo, what was the other one you thought of? The rear track rod?

what about front diff bush on avant? they could maybe make some stiffer..
i have the bracket lying loose if this is intresting,

instead of buying the apikol diff mount for 180$$or what it is...

I am deff (pardon the sort of pun!) interested in that! Would you be able to lend it to Powerflex?

I am offshore right now and cant remember the mountings... If anyone has photos of the mountings, from afar, not real close ups, that would be handy to send to Paul.

I'm happy to help on these where I can - but even happier if someone else wants to do the donkey work of securing orders, chasing money, posting boxes etc etc

1st things first - Avant rear = Sedan rear also... This is where the wider B4 quattro interest would come in and actually there may even be some same size bushes that carry over to B5 quattro rear end (1st gen Audi A4) - I'll dig around on the parts system for a quick check.

I for one would be up for a complete set of Powerflex bushes at the rear of a B4 quattro - wishbones top & bottom and uprated diff mounts too.

lind4hl: you can get the front one in poli by 034! also the rear diff bracket bushes.

From what i can see the parts are common upto 2001 RS4's, plenty of market for them i would have thought.

yep on their website the RS2 / Avant and S4 bushes have the same number IIRC

Power flex are only missing a few bushes ( except the subframe )

Complied this real quick - its 12 bushes in total for the rear of a B4 - not counting diff mounts. See attached PDF for pic and explanation...

Someday I'll do a properly annotated one of these with torque settings etc etc
