From an 'OEM-plus' kind of view I am thinking of replacing the steeringwheel of my UrS6 for this one: http://i.ebayimg.com/03/!BU0+oPw!Wk~$(KGrHgoOKkYEjlLmY4pPBKPjPHw1Tw~~_1.JP G
But the obvious question is; Can anyone tell me if this will fit directly?
I think it should.. but depending on what kinda steeringwheel you've got right now there's different methods for switching over to that one.. search the forum and you'll see.. i switched over from an earlier model/type airbag steeringwheel to one like that one myself in my s2 sedan!
EDIT: the leather on that steeringwheel looks a bit worn? low priced I hope??
But now you mention it...I believe you are right...would the wheel be really that worm out? It is nog that expensive I think but I am to accurate to allow any worn out things in my vehicle
If you now have the steeringwheel you posted then YES the other one should fit directly BUT there are 2 versions of that steeringwheel and they look ALMOST THE SAME, the older one is slightly sharper round the edges and then there is the one you linked/posted that is the newer one which is a bit rounded off around the edges!
I had (of course) the older one... grr... I'll try to find ya a picture of the one I had!
EDIT:
I had this one from the factory (the break-point seems to be 1994-1995):
Can you see the difference between the one I had and the one that you linked?

The answer is No and Yes. No it's not a direct plug and play swap. Yes, it can be done. I (and others) have done it. I have a 97 UrS6 steering wheel in my 93 UrS4. The best procedure for doing this is written up in a link within this post (made by me) - follow the link to the pdf procedure:

If his car is a late 1994 or newer (1995+) then its a plug n play fit, totally different than a early 1994 or previous then it is a bigger job (as described earlier)
Thanks for al this peeps! At this moment I have the steeringwheel that Andreas called as the 'newer' one. So not the old one he had. My car is an UrS6 build in sept. '94 (so late 1994 Andreas!). So my conclusion for now with all the help of you people is: It will fit directly
