  • Coil-over conversion kits, interest?

as topic, i am having this made up for my car (front) and thought maybe more people want it? parts that are in this kit are:

-Coil over tube with 55,2mm innerdiameter for front struts. 90mm high, sits perfectly between the threads for suspension locking and steering arm on the strut.
    -1 nut/springseat for 64mm spring (2,5" spring)
    -1 lock-nut
-1 tool to lock the nuts.

these will be made in regular steel so it will be weld-able to the strut.

first of all i will have 2 sets made ( 1 for me and 1 for sale) that wil be finished next week, then piccys come up also.

Pricing would be Approx 100€ for 1 axle ( 2 tubes etc.)

    so any interest?

    Edit:

i know that there is kits available and an how-to on Motorgeek, but that kit is in aluminum and cant be welded to the strut, and also the locking mechanism on the parts that they used i think is really stupid since it breaks the threads after a while.

Could you not make the coil-over tubes from stainless as previously done by one forum member...the threads are exposed to a lot of dirt and water and stainless steel would give the struts an improved overall finish over steel...

2.5" stainless kits are available in UK for £60 an axle iirc.

since the mechanic have said that it will be finished next week all the time i have now changed the person to do it,

he said it would be done tomorrow, so hopefully it will be here during the weekend or next week!

no interest on these at all? i could make them in SS, more expensive though..
