Have a look at the sticky thread in the suspension section, there are much cheaper options than the Whiteline and they're more aggressive too, depends what you're after, Whiteline is a small upgrade, something like a 24mm FARB on the rear is a bigger one. You can get a FARB (plus cups and bushes) from a breakers for £20 and try it, much cheaper, even new they're <£100. If it's too much then sell it to someone that wants to try the upgrade for what you paid for it, if it's about right (and on the road it is IMO) then keep it and spend the saved £ on
A rear subframe shouldn't cost more than £50, find the best one you can and get it refurbished, there's no point messing about on a 2 ton, 150+mph car IMO Rust weakens the structure and you want it to be A1 not D4 condition.

Get a decent rear subframe and refurb it, no point messing about fixing up a 5hitter.
Theres a 21.5mm, 22mm, 24mm, 25mm and 26mm front ARBs as well as the RS2 front bar (if you're mental) you can put on the rear for next to nothing - plenty of options there.
