Tracking done on the Coupe thank god!!

Well got the tracking done on the coupe ...was out by miles after subframe change over ...really good to drive now ..no more crabing at 90mph

getting through all the niggly jobs ...just off to aviemore again now ..taking my wee lass camping and do a bit of mountain biking ,fishing ..

oh, just while ur in niggle mode! that noise, the weird vibration whine one from my car, if it was the clutch release bearing it would stop when the clutch was depressed, compressing it? cause it doesnt...........but, it has got quieter

Was Subframe on squint

Hi

When he done the alignment did he have to slacken the subframe and move

After putting new bushes in subframe and having geometry redone you can feel it scrub on outside front wheel but only on right hand corners, Wonder if that is what is wrong with mine

i'll post up my printout when i get my alignment done in a couple weeks - should be amusing as i've had EVERYTHING off the car and aligned it by eye when i put it back on

Looks good, i always found the toe setting on the rear the most important, get that wrong and it will drive all over the place by itself.

I got Colin to do it for £35 quid ..pretty good price considering the kit they use...I slackened and freed up all the adjusting parts ..Colin did your car about 6 months before crash

I found the alignment sheet in the glove box, just no price. Will be interesting to see what has moved as I have the pre crash alignment specification.

I will start soaking everything in penetrating fluid, hopefully most things will undo.

Aye - do not go to Dastek. I ended up getting a refund I'm sure after repeated attempts by them to align the coupe. It was more or less spot on after it was taken to Steve's dudes by Crieff.. all for 35 knicker too.
