    Front Tierod Adjusters

    Ok guys, theres been a couple of threads up recently regarding the theaded adjusters for the front steering arms, which are not available seperatley from audi.

    The replacement part is made by Quinton Hazell, part number QR5005S. I can get them from my local motorfactors for £5.75+vat. Ive ordered 4, so thats 2 for my car and then I have a couple spare.

    If anybody wants them, I can post them out to you for a quid or so, and if theres alot of interest I can order more and post them out members. Could be a big help for those not in the UK as i believe they are difficult to get hold of overseas.

    Any interest?

            I think its just the bare rod... But new nuts and clamping rings should be available from Audi if nowhere else.

            Ring = 431 419 813 (4 needed per car)
            Nut1 = N 102 187 08 (2 per car)
            Nut2 = N 011 113 6 (2 per car)

              You might want to wait and see if these turn up first, I spoke to QH direct on Monday and they don't have any in stock and they don't have a re-order date yet.

              If Kev is interested in doing a batch of these I still have a spare that he can borrow? Let me know.

                I'd be delighted if Kev or Rusty could knock something up with a MUCH beefier adjustment point - like for a 17mm spanner instead of piddly ~14mm on there.

                  Hi Andy,

                  Yes Mate, very interested in doing a batch.

                  I already do the rear bushes(Delrin), currently doing front prototypes for alex to test so if i could do a replacement adaptor rod, then i could offer a full replacment kit to members.

                  Can pop over to see you & chris and pick it up.
                  if ok pm me

                  Cheers
