Hi all
Ive fitted new rear shocks a couple of weeks back.
Totally improved the ride and handling, nothing wow there.
Now,all was well until a small rattle turned into an unignorable rattle very quickly ...
I took the rubber covers off the top of them only to discover that the nearside is spot on and fine. The offside has about an inch plus of space filled only by the bush and washer on top.The nut is all the way down on the thread.
The part of the shock piston below the threaded part is literally floppin about inside its hole in the turret!
WTF!!
I have no bits left over and how come the other sides fine!
Has my Coupe been plagued lately?
If so,who did it?
Bet it was Acidburn!!!
Can anyone help me?
Cheers in advance

lastic cap which pushes over top of shock, the bump stop, the rubber bush and to be embarrasingly honest NOT the large washer. One side of this washer has had rubber pushing against it,one side is a tad rusty.
