currently passed its MOT today (initiall failed on the horn but fixed after a rotten connector replaced) and all quiet on the H*R front.

Even better, passed the emissions test on its own merit minus the CAT's

Sooo god to have it on the road again and de-catted legally sounds sweet and a biiiiig grin

Hello, just put my new Weitec lowering spring kit (45/45) on my coupe Q, but was dissapointed, the car height is same as stock or even higher :O

Just wondering, maybe its because i fitted spring upside down? This is photo how its mounted ( sings on spring could be read normally).

Lower part compreses fully when car is on its wheels. Maybe i should upturn the spring?

Upside down or right way up, the springs still compress the same amount

Sounds like you've gone for a non-lowered item or already had sports suspension on your car.

well, checked PNs, it should really lower and the car didnt have sport suspesion ( was high enough ). Yes, they should compress the same, but thinking maybe doesnt lay right on plates causing it to stay higher than should be?

There's very little difference, the only time you'll notice they're upside down is if the spring pings when turning.

Maybe you've got a kit for a heavier car but sounds unlikely...

this is rear... tried to sit myself (+90kg), still its veryy strange that i can put my hand in vertical position very easy... Will try to reassemble spring and strut to check if everything is as it should be... Maybe it needs more time to 'sit down' ?

P.S. these springs ar fit with new KONI sport yellows...
