Got to give Mance credit hear, the guy is super helpful

After exchanging a few pictures we have established my top mounts are in good health.

Switching back to stock top mounts has only made a difference to the feel of the car (worse)
The knocking noise on slow right hand turns is still there slightly.

Going to get the koni damper sorted, put the top mounts back on and forget about it.

If it gets worse ill investigate further.

Oh, and my MOT man can't find a problem with it either.

    cheers

Re: "knocking noise on slow right hand turns is still there slightly...

Mance wrote a helpful checklist for front end clunking noise:

My issue was that the inner tie-rod bushing through-bolt was:

        a.) loose; &

b.) entirely the wrong bolt (ordinary vs. OEM captive in bracket)

Others have found these OEM rubber bushes deteriorated.

        see bracket photo here:

Oddly enough I have done some more work on this today.

Having left the Koni damper inverted for weeks with no leaking and having compared it to the koni from the drivers side in the way it feels I have refitted it.

The pro-mounts have also gone back on.

I did swap the springs and konis over near side to off side and this has made a massive improvement but .

Just need to get some new un-buckled alloys now and all vibration and knocking should cease........... I hope.

          cheers
