No idea, a picture would help me a lot or a diagram

The top hats that come with the compbrake 2.5" coilover kit fit the Koni damper shaft perfectly. They are ur quattro struts though, I dont know if they are a different diameter to an S2?

Oh, and did you get the shaft diameter of the Billies?

I understand. That part is worth keeping for a road car although on my car they never stay in place very long, despite using cable ties...

I was looking at a bump stop that is part of the top mount or one that is interal in the spring coupler for helper springs. Would keep the coupler centred on the strut as most I've seen seem to kink.

Yeah, I guess they must, that's a fairly simple delete though as the inverted billies are different diameter to all other shocks. My Konis for example need bump stops and are the OE diameter.

Bilstein - Inverted - nominal 40mm shaft and the top hats that come with the compbrake coilover conversion fit fine.

Please ignore the none CQ parts. This is the nominally 40mm OD "shiney bit". You can see the boot-top retaining groove. Top threads are hidden by the washer. Draw away sir!

I've designed some custom adjustable top mounts for my mk1 golf. M14x1.5 top thread with 40mm thread length but i need to get custom shafts made longer. The shaft diameter i have here is 22mm....

My top mounts allow adjustability for camber only but i've designed a weld in top plate for round turrets (type85 quattro rears are 182mm diameter).
