  • Wishbone dilemma

After picking up a front and rear wishbone to refurb ready to swop onto my avant, it is now crunch time about wishbones. I am debating whether:

    1. Clean up and rebush with superflex bushes my current pressed WB's.
    2. Buy, refurb and rebush a set of Cast WB's.
    3. buy some more pressed WB's, seam weld them up and as No1.

Having read through quite a few postings about the pros and cons of cast V's pressed it is now a decision about money & time....

    any thoughts/opinions etc are appreciated....

Simple, buy my cast ones lol

I can't comment on welding the pressed ones up, it will no doubt make them a lot better than they are now that much I do know.

I'd go cast wishbones all day long, i've heard of a couple of pressed wishbones cracking thru hard use

To be honest I went from cast ones to pressed with power flex bushes but i had them stitch welded and there is no difference in overall feel to the car,its a myth. But I do have a left hand cast wishbone if your intrested?
Just some finishing touches to do now
