b3/B4 oem stress bar differences ??

i have a kit (oem) that you weld to the strut tower, but the bar doesn't come with it

In the USA i only really see bars that are square and the bar that should have came with the kit is round with flat ends where the bolts go through

will the square bar work?? it looks like it will

AFAIK the square bar was fitted to ABY engined (later) S2's the round bar was fitted to the earlier 3B. I think either will work fine.

Square bar will be stronger at the point where it bolts on, perhaps that's why Audi changed it, shame it looks a bit pants.
