S2 Coupè ABY dailydrive and trackday use, which upgrade are good and which not?

Hello friends, finally I have decided to mount Koni shock absorber and H&R springs from re2500. Now I don't know if mount also a complete Powerflex set, RS2 farb and whiteline or neuspeed rarb or not, I will use this car on normal roads and trackdays. Thanks a lot! Bye

    Hello Alessio,
I think you should also look at the top mounts especially at the front. I decided to use the street density ones from 034 motorsport. I think they will be a compromise between rubbish oem and solid top mounts

Neuspeed is Avant only, you want a Whiteline.

Other than that, some decent front brakes and either some decent rear pads or rear brake upgrade, depends on budget.

Some decent seats help a lot.

For brake upgrade I have ordered a custom setup made only for me here: http://www.omnicompetition.com/italiano/default.aspx
        It's a Italian factory.
What do you mean for top mounts, can I mount front RS2 seats on a S2 Coupe ABY?
        Thanks a lot!

Ok, so I can mount it under my S2 if I want. I have a complete full leather interior for a RS2 and my RS2 full leather interior is very good and I use RS2 really for few Kms every year so I think that I will never need it for my RS2.
            About top mounts?
            Are these?

Under RS2 with Koni and H&R I have mount OEM Audi but are really soft and after some years will gone I think.

What do you think about mount RS2 farb on the S2 Coupe ABY on front? On rear can I mount the Whiteline rarb I think, I want mount also complete Powerflex set, but are all these parts good for a dailydrive car or not?

              Thanks a lot!

RS2 FARB is fine but not worth doing if you're upgrading to coilovers. You could team it with one of the more extreme rear ARB options discussed in the sticky thread in the suspension section.

As for poly bushes etc. For a road car a complete set of replacement OE bushes will be fine (go for upgraded top mounts though) and feel much better than 15 year old ones. For a more track based car the wishbone bushes will make a good difference and you might want to think about improves subframe mounts. Other than that, the rear diff mount from Powerflex is cheaper than the Audi one and you'll want to replace the prop centre bearing as it'll more than likely be shot.

Hello, I have decided for Koni + H&R, if I mount RS2 FARB on front then I must mount Whiteline ARB on rear? I must reinforce something on the car for this setup or not?
I must reinforce something on the car only if I want mount a complete Powerflex setup? I want use this car as a dailydriver, also if don't drive it really everyday and for trackday use and I want keep it for many years so I don't want make upgrade that with the age of the car and the use may cause car problems, such as the frame, ecc.
                    Thanks!

I have a question, if I mount RS2 FARB on front, with Koni + H&R I must mount a Whiteline RARB on rear too or I can keep the original S2 Coupe ABY RARB?
I must reinforce the subframe mounts on front and on rear too only if I mount a complete Powerflex setup or also if I change only front and rear ARB with RS2 FARB on front and Whiteline ARB on rear?
                      Thanks a lot friends!

                        Subframe reinforcement is Avant only.

With the RS2 FARB the Whiteline is the minimum upgrade, I'd get a 22mm or 24mm FARB and fit that, you could even use the OE FARB on the rear.

Bushes wise, depends how extreme you want to go...

Hello, thanks a lot for you helpful answer Rusty, now I have better idea about the upgrade that I want do under my S2.
So RS2 FARB is a very hard arb, but on rear RS2 have a small arb, I don't know if the diameter is the same of the Coupe, probably not, but itsn't a big arb.
Here in Italy roads are not good, are like a Leerdammer in some place, so I don't want too hard suspensions because I like also some comfort with my S2, so I think that OEM bushes, RS2 FARB on front, Whiteline RARB on rear, H&R + Koni and OEM or 034 street density top mounts is a good setup?
OEM top mounts are soft, after some years require replacement but I have it under my RS2 with Koni + H&R and all the OEM new bushes and the car is comfortable but also good for trackday, I don't know what change with 034 street density top mounts instead of OEM.

                          Thanks!
