    nipping up the strut cup

am concerned that my bilsteins are banging about a bit in the struts, is there a way (and a tool!?!?) to check and remove any play? Also is it possible to do this while on the car?

I have to get rid of the knocking as its going to do my head in and is playing with confidence to drive the car hard which is not good with a Ring trip looming

A slim set of stilsons that will fit between the spring coils will let you tighten the caps whilst on the car. BTDT.

Factory figure is 180Nm, I don't have the tool to fit my torque wrench so I just give them a good tweek. Never had one come loose.
