    ps pump conversion questions

I'm putting the motor from a urs6 into a 944. I have retained the pump from the s6 for the swap. For some reason I just realized that it has an extra outlet for the Audi brake system, where as the 944 has a vacuum assisted system. I figure that I have two options: 1 plug the port for the brake outlet (I'm guessing that isn't a good idea). 2 connect the brake outlet to the reservoir and just let it circulate fluid. Anybody have any ideas?
currently: 1987 944 NA 5spd, 250 lb hyper coils, 27 mm t bars, Koni, 968 m030 bars, full delrin, Audi I5 20VT, VEMS, Tilton, EFI Express, Seimens, Race Technologies

I think all you can do is let the fluid come back to the tank.

You cant even isolate the pump because the brake and steering circuit both use the same pickup, and its not a good idea to run pumps dry.

The only other option is to convert to a single stage pump so you could use a hydro-electric pump and do away with power sapping belts.
