Hi all,im after some advice on shocks/springs for my coupe. Its a 93 2.8 V6 quattro coupe and i would like to lower it a bit,but im unsure by how much and whats a safe limit. I have the original 15" wheels on it and will keep them ( for now anyway ),if anyone can recommend a good amount to drop it by and a decent spring/shock manufacturer that would be a great help, thanks in advance all,Steve

S2 designated stuff will fit, just be careful of the front strut diameter (later S2s being a tad bigger), otherwise its all the same gear
S2 springs will be a bit stiffer, you could get some S2 springs re-wound to be a bit lower, or fit H&Rs.
Konis and Bilsteins are the tried and tested damper options..... plenty info on here Steve

Thanks Error404,appreciate the info. Please excuse my ignorance, but what are H&R's? are they a make-design??S2 designated stuff will fit, just be careful of the front strut diameter (later S2s being a tad bigger), otherwise its all the same gear

Have decided just to go for springs the shocks are not too bad,so if i cant see Quattro Coupe on a list but S2 coupe is,and its the same year i could buy the S2 stuff and it will fit? When i change the springs anything else to look out for? probs etc, Thanks all,Steve
