KW V3 and meyle HD topmount

I recently started installing a KW V3 suspension on my S2, 3B. I also replaced the topmounts for meyle HD. While replacing all this I noticed that the KW set has only one bolt to keep the topmount in place, while the old (standard) set has two bolts to keep the topmount in place. One of those bolts is used to keep the spring under tension, but it also keeps the topmount in place. Do I also need to use two bolts to secure the meyle topmount to the KW set?

i'd have thought so as the HD mouts still need the slotted nut to torque down ou the upper bearing race

      Jaco,

Can you post some impressions of the kw3 when you have had a chance to drive it for a week ?

Was your previous suspension original standard or something else ?

      tia.

Thanks error404, I already suspected that but just wanted to be sure.

David, I had the original dampers with lowering springs when I bought the car. I have now replaced almost everything. Powerflex bushes, aluminium subframes bushes, stearing rods and baljoints. No problem to post a review after a week of driving.

Hi Jaco, I thought you did mount the KW already. So you did have to re-use the old nut?

I have them under the car, but without the nuts. I will install the nuts as soon as I have new ones.
