I know the S2's belts arnt the quietest of belts but today it started creaking really loudly. When i had the head off i noticed about 1mm of play axially in the shaft. I poured water on and the noise stopped, so i presume its belts. Last time i got belts it was from a local motor factor, and after 5 trips to the shop we had belts which fitted. Could it be my PAS pump on its way out, or just belts again. I will change them no matter what happens, could anyone tell me how much original OEM reccomended belts are??.
Also has anyone ever stripped the pump down to se which parts wear, if so what are they like to strip, they look simple enough
.If it does go south how much are pumps to replace, both new and re-conned.

Cool i like nothing, something means it is usually going to be expensive, nothing is cheap, even with these cars
