Has anybody modified their ball joints to compensate for their increased camber on lowered cars? I have heard from several people that it can be done by lengthening the 3 holes on the ball joint by 1/4". Has anybody here done this mod?
'tis possible.
I had 2 different balljoints o/s was correct and n/s was incorrect.
When I took it for alignment there was not sufficient adjustment in the elongated holes to get the camber right, so I elongated them. There is of course a limit to how much you can do, but 2 or 3 degrees is well within reach.
