Looking for the last date for ProConTen

Because of my question regarding the non-airbag steering wheel on an S2 on a "dealer" lot, there were a number of responses that suggested that the Airbag steering wheels only showed up when ProConTen was deleted by the factory. Based on my 93 UrS4 that has both front airbags (left and right) AND ProConTen I know that is NOT true, it is possible to have both. The two systems are complimentary.

So I tried chasing the existance of ProConTen by asking Kate about the ProConTen cable bracket on top of the transmission and the presence of the cables on the steering column. What I have found so far is for the ACOQ (which I presume to cover the S2 coupes), the ProConTen bracket and cables are still there into the 1995 model year but are gone by the 1996 model year (this fits with the C4 UrS4 and UrS6, there in 1995, gone in 1996).

As for the A80Q (which I presume includes the S2 avants and sedans and maybe the RS2), the bracket and cables still show in 1994 model year but are gone by 1995.

I could be wrong so certainly check my work.

What is the build date of your car? If you don't know, what is the chassis number,
e.g. Sx03xxxx (I don't need the last three numbers to check the build month if you don't want to share the whole number)

From what i have seen on avants, R chassis cars (1994) have the proconten, S chassis (1995) have Airbags and no proconten. Makes clutch bleeding much easier on the later cars...
