    CrMo wishbones

I have seen lot of topics where people ask and look for tubular wishbones.

A few questions, waiting for open an honest answers:

1: what is the price level a set may cost?
2: what is it, You are after with this mod? More adjustability? More precise handling?
3: Would You like to have spherical bearings instead of poly bushings at the inner joints? (MUCH more expensive, much more precise)

I am taking this survey as I would like to learn if there is enough market for me to focus on matter and have them produced.

The way I make wishbones is a bit different than most, as I have studied metallurgy and welding science, so I want to make them right. Hence they are not as easy to make and cheap as some others.

We need to remember it's Your life that's dependent on the welds and material properties, when You hit the brakes or at 200mph.

Of course more volume takes the price down.

As a single set I would be looking for 1200-1500 eur a set of four without bearings or bushings, but immediately, if I have two sets made, the price goes closer to 1000-1200 level.

      <1000€.
      Significant weight saving over original.
Small polyurethane inner bushes, as the pressed steel wishbones.

Id like to fit wider rims and be able to have optimal camber/caster if these allow for it
          Cheers mis amigos,

            1. Price maybe under 1k€/set of 4

            2. Lighter unsprung weight, stiffer parts, more camber adjustment, maybe more static caster also? If the lower ball joint had longer shaft (which connects to the hub carrier), it would make the geometry have less positive camber gain -> roll center of the car higher.

            3. Does it have to be spherical bearing? Would a roller bearing with barrel-shaped rolls do? Dunno their prices though. It does not need much angular displacement anyway. Could have a problem with dirt.
I am quite satisfied with poly bushes atm. So if I would be buying, maybe poly bushes would do.

I'm intersted more ajustability, strength and light weight win win win. Would you also consider designing ball joint and track rod extensions as an option? I hope production goes ahead.
