I'd be happy to give this a go! But im not too local and my car is running a single system hydraulic pump (from my 10v as i run vacuum assist) so in not sure if your kit will work on my pump??

Hey James, we could make it work so long as you still use the standard dual stage pump to rack hose and mounting brackets etc? I could take the pistons out of the brake assist pump stage and make it a single stage unit, wouldn't affect it
I think everything bar the pump itself is ABY on my car as i simply machined a little bracket to adapt the 10v pump to fit in the ABY OEM PAS pump bracket, i think all my lines are ABY too, i also recently fitted the ABY rack. So if its a complete pump you have then yes i think this would work....
Unfortunately i dont have a spare standard ABY pump any more it was sold in a garage clearout
Shall we take a look at it at ADI?

Hmm, just looking at it I wonder if the rear section to the single pump body isn't identical to that on the dual stage pump
I really should get hold of one to look at
yeah I did they couldn't help, they are doing mostly EPAS stuff now
Incidentally I was also was in touch with Jack Knight Motorsport who are a bunch of thieving ****ing scum and still have an ABY rack I sent them and will not return it
No worries mate, they only said that they were not really set up for custom hydraulic stuff anymore as they had moved in the EPAS direction.
I think they now make all the racks for Lotus

I wouldnt be surprised if it was. The back end bolted into the bracket fine and the lines fitted ok, the 10v pump even has a longer front section so that the pulley is in the same place.
Shall we have a look and chat about it at ADI, i'd be happy to help with testing though as i very much like the idea of a heavier feel to the steering, especially as i now have the slightly quicker ABY rack.

I don't remember the model of the pump we used with Brian, but we made a bracket as well and used the single vane pump on the stock rs2 rack.
Looks like for different reasons I will be changing the rack in the near future but the pump was 100bar as the dual vane.
Works nicely ever since
