PAS Options for 20vT conversions

We've been doing some more head scratching today about the PAS system. We're thinking about running the AAN's existing pump/alternator set-up with tensioner rather than backward stepping to a 'v' belt set.

The question is, has anyone done this and if so, how did you do it. (we can get specialist pipes fabricated).

If you've done the AAN into Ur and used the CQ/Ur pump, be interesting to also know how you've done that too.

where are you planning on fitting an intercooler Ian?,mine has got an aby/aan hybrid in and the ic is inbetween the headlights ruling out the pas pump in its normal place.i have an mr2 pump here which i may well use.Sometimes wish i had kept it simple but i like the idea of the aan inlet so its staying

Being a RallyRep, there's going to be a fair amount of butchery to the front end which will become removable... But like you've said, we want to keep the format simple, so the intercooler will sit, broadly, where it would sit in the AAN. (although it'll have to be in a better airflow and better protected).
