Only people on the quattro forum think that as they not all very clever
It works fine you just have to turn it the other way up (its symetrical unlike the coupe/S2 ones )
Hi, this seems like a nice mod. Is it possible to get the spacer for the steering wheel somewhere? I don't have the means to make one myself
it is an awesome mod, i still run 5cm spacers and it rocks. you just need to get used to the distance from the steering wheel to the side repeater switch.
find a company that has cnc machinery, thay can make them in no time, just unbolt the hub from the steering wheel, and take it to them for measuring
Ok, thanks. OT:I modified the subframes of my Recaros and gained 3-4 cm of head space, that's also a good mod. With the steering wheel spacer the driving position will be even better

Momo are 70mm pcd, I think others use 78mm but can't quite remember. For that size spacer, I'd put some counterbored holes and tapped holes, as per a wheel adaptor.

Andy, so do you think the PCD of the standard wheel like the one below is 78mm?
I'm gona take mine apart sometime and have a look! I have the seat about right but could do with the wheel a bit closer.
Also does anyone know a method of lowering the column a bit? Not wanting to go to the effort of fitting an s6 steering column!
