    Air Suspension Experience?

Has anybody on here any experience of air suspension on an s2 or other quattro 80 either coupe or avant?

Or maybe someone has seen a build thread on another forum where air suspension has been fitted to our cars. www.airbagit.com cover the 80 avant and cabbie but not a coupe quattro by the looks of it.

Feedback would be appreciated. I'd like another few mm ground clearance and it'd be great to great to drop it on the floor when stationary.

look on any site like edition 38 for write ups etc about it, i've been looking at it for a while for on my passat deciding if to go with that or stick with a static drop as the car is low as it is.

The allroad bag design is a little bit unusual in the sense that the bag diameter is quite small meaning that the pressure is quite high in the system as a whole. I wonder is it like this for stability? The allroad is both stable and comfortable to drive.

I've been resisting signing to another forum, I spend too much time here already. I'd like to see air used in a high performance application.

I dont think i have ever read anything about the allroad being an involving drive. If its anything like my normal a6, then its like an armchair on wheels compared to the S2 but dynamically it wouldnt raise the pulse

Agreed re the A6, I've driven a few allroads and they're far from highly strung sports cars but for the size of them I thought they're quite agile. There doesn't seem to be any norm in relation to piping of the pneumatic circuits and a lot of the ones I've seen are pretty basic.
