do v6 shocks fit s2?

car currently in for mot and failed on copper fuel pipe and drivers front shock.

need to drop in a new one tomorrow or could i use an old strut with not much resistance(but no leaks!) just to pass me by?

or can i buy a v6 one? i know bolt oles are different but im only talkin about the insert.

normally would wait and do a proper job but need by tomorrow

I had just replaced my front shocks on my V6. They had a smaller diameter than my S2 shock inserts.

No the shocks are different, but yes they will fit. I found one in the front of my avant. Will do to get you past the MOT.

so if i ask them to use my old shock will it be allowed, with it not bein hard? it does not leak....
