    Koni Damper Service

    Hi all,

Thought i'd share this with you all!

I sent my dampers off to get service at Sportsline Suspension (official Koni service centre) as they were leaking very badly.

I recieved them back today after about 3weeks. 3 were easy to do but 1 kept leaking apparently.

They've had all new seals, valves, oil etc and even a new lick of paint.

they look brand new and the damping feels spot on.

The cost is about £80-90 per damper depending on what needs doing to them but a dam site cheaper then buying new ones!

I would highly recommend the service from sportsline, has been top notch!

I'll get some pics of them soon

here's the link if anyone needs it http://www.sportslinesuspension.com/

not sure about warranty actually, i'll ask. forgot about that haha

They should have dyno services, they said mine had been tested and are back to new. They do lots of custom damper set ups, they seem a very knowledgeable place and really nice people when you call up.

Is it just me that thinks this is damn expensive?

£80-90 per damper equals £320-360 for a full set and I only paid £370 for a new set.

What am I missing here - has the price of new Konis jumped up or something?

          Cheers n

^^^^^ very good question... I thought the price was a bit steep too - figuring that ~100 quid per corner was about right for a new damper

yeah I'm pretty sure I bought the last one in the UK before the price rocketed. From what I gather its because Demon Tweaks have a deal as the sole UK importer so they have it stitched up and can charge what they like
Now its pretty much the same price to get customs made up.
