    ABY vs 3B suspension struts

I have 3b coupe struts here with h&r's and konis ready to go to get powder coated for fitment to my aby coupe, obviously want to do any drilling/machining needed beforehand.

do i need to enlarge the 12mm hole to 14mm or something like that? anything else?

    thanks in advance

You just need to enlarge the bolt holes to 14mm, thats it.

Rears are all the same and are M12.

ABY / later cars also had larger diameter shocks on it; worth checking they're the same as the ones you remove.

            ouch, didnt realise that!

Mine is a relatively late aby.
These shocks should still go on though right? even if they're not the largest available?

Very early 3B's have smaller diameter front inserts, so you need to check that inserts you want to use fit into the front legs. Konis fronts for example are all the smaller diameter and use adaptors to fit into the later large diameter legs.

Edit, just read your firsr post again. you just need to drill the front bolt holes too 14mm.
