  • RS2 Hydraulic Pump

I would like to get my hydraulic pump serviced.

Does anyone have any suggestions on service centres that can help?
Where are the best places to get one from (apart from Audi/TPS).

I've left a message with Pete from Quattro Corner, hopefully he can help.

    Any other options? Thanks.

Ah, I didn't realise there were two

It's the one located at the top right hand side of the block, looking from the front.

Vas is confusing you. The same pump does both - hence the name tandem pump
I think Pete can get hold of ZF rebuilt pumps on exchange, same as the dealer. There are plenty of places that say they rebuild pumps, most of them just replace the seals. The shaft bearing and shims are what wear on these pumps in my experience though

          That sounds ideal.

so steering pump then! (as the brake servo is a pump and hydraulic as well! )

yes, i had one checked recently at http://www.steering-racks.co.uk/

top response and im sending them a rack to be serviced as well.

its lost in translation but the greek equivalent is pump instead of servo!

Kiley did a check on a pump for me for 20GBP and their service was very good. Im sending them a rack that 4wheeldrifter had rebuilt for me but apparently something went wrong and leaked everywhere, so we will find out soon if there was a problem with seals at the time.

                              Received the 'new' pump today.

Ask for Roger at Kiley-Clinton, first class professional service.

The new paint job will match up nicely to the powder coated pulley
