How hard is it to change the stearing rack gayter on s6

My s6 has just failed the MOT on a split stearing rack gayter on the drivers side
How hard is it to change it,and how long.

Its not too bad, just access is awkward on the 3B. You need to remove the steering arm yolk from the rack piston, then you can slide the damaged boot off and put a new one on. On the 3B it helps if you cut the bottom out of your battery try, so you can get an arm though
