    Bilstein B4 is OEM.

I've got H&R monotube installed this weekend, and the ride isn't that harsh at all. Nice and firm, but also nicely progressive... really like it.

depends on the roads you use....I'm on standard springs but bilsteins and with a few other tweaks to my suspension, I think its great...firm but not harsh....I do use a lot of bad roads which is why I went for the set up I have...

      I hope this helps

I got B8's with H&R lowering springs. B6's are for stock length springs otherwise same damper.

Ride is fine however within 15k miles the front dampers started leaking and now at 30k one of the rear springs snapped. Ride a bit wallowy in corners after 10k miles. Also if you don't buy adjustable top mounts for the front expect to be eating tires from the camber if lowered as stock top mounts exceed their range.

Personally for my application wont be buying them again.

got what they called H&R cup kit in deutschland (on s2 coupe)
In fact it is B8 with progressive h&r - 30mm springs
driving french roads and a little track, ride is good, firm but won't break your back
A very nice setup for my use !
but of course need a very good settings of camber/toe ...

hmm a bad review of h&r's thats got to be an honest one then! what other options are out there though??

adjusting the cambers etc to withing acceptable limits shouldnt be too much of an issue with a 30mm drop
