Looks like the front snub mount but not sure about the bracket.

Hmmm, not sure if it's a good thing or not it fell out... Maybe it's not being used anymore with the 1.8t in there!? I drove over it after it fell out as well...

Yes it´s look like a front snub mount

it is definately the front snub mount but its been modified to fit into the 1.8t's snub mount as there the opposite way round on a4/a6/passat

jack the car up and you'll be able to bolt it back on... goes infront of the bottom pulley
