    Coupe rear tie rods?

Has anyone bought these and are they any good?

    From here:

    What at the alternatives?

    Thanks,

Just check they are the right ones, they are listed as being for 1988-90. Somebody on motorgeek said they are the wrong length for the S2.

I got an UR quattro one from the dealer, cost £100/120 ish (only one they had on stock and I needed it to pass the MOT, they are too short. The correct one was avaliable for similar money to order in.

FYI a drop link boot can be fitted to replace a torn one on the tie rod.

As I mentioned in my project thread, the measurement from centre to centre of the mounting points was 480mm but the early CQ subframe was much closer together suggesting to me that early CQ rear tie-rods must be longer in length. Could well be wrong though.

        That will be it.

I wonder why they changed them? Will it affect bump steer or camber/toe/something gain?
