I have a selection of huge 'stilson' wrenches. Great pieces of kit. The more force you use the tighter they get!

First one was really hard to remove, but today I removed the second one and it came off much easier. That's because I learn how to use proper tools.

On the first one I tried to twist the nuts and tried apply some heat and lots of penetration oil. Those didn't help so I end up cutting the nuts off.

On the other side I remembered that I have pneumatic chisel. With correct chisel head I used the chisel to hit the nut to open direction. Both nuts opened relatively easy! And that taper collar too was very easy to hit loose once the nut was open. On this side too the tie rod end was really hard on the adjustment bolt and it had to be cut open. It actually came off first from the tie rod. Once the adjustment bolt was off I could apply lots of heat in to it and still cut the groove in to tie rod end and got it open. The trick is not to cut too deep.

The major thing was the use of that pneumatic chisel. It helped _a lot_. It seems that I have right tools, but I don't know how to use them.

Thanks for all! Tie rod ends are now changes and put together with plenty of copper grease. Now I'm just waiting to get wheels aligned.
