    suspension swap

How hard is it to swap the suspension, brakes, discs, from a 7a 20v saloon/coupe to a 1985 coupe Gt that is fitted with drums, have G60 calipers to fit to the front?

    cheers.

front end is easy and simple swap over. Other option is I know someone with a pair of very early b3 struts that take the g60 callipers and don't require swapping the full lot over.

If you do the 20v onto gt you need to swap quite a bit, Just need to check you can use your driveshafts with the hubs as I think that might be an issue that you'd need to get around. Think the hubs have a different spline pattern. I got around this on my urq by swapping everything over hubs, struts, subframe, wishbone, box, driveshafts etc.

Rear end should just bolt up providing you have everything, might need to make up some brake lines. But not 100% sure on that.

the front end will fit complet, with struth and everything... if you have only 2wd( with drums) the 2wd rear end from mod 89 will fit..with diskbrakes.. the quattro route are slightly more work...weldin and so on..
