Front suspension

Im breaking a 1991 Audi 90 20v sport and wondered if the front suspension is the same as my 1995 ABY S2 coupe? I dont think they are but want confirmation.

They're different.

The S2 shock inserts were a larger diameter

They were only larger on the ABY along with larger (m14 rather than m12) bolts to bolt onto the hub.
The 90 front suspension should be interchangeable with the earlier 3B s2 though.

The shocks are larger in diameter on the S2 than all other 80/90 models
