Does any one know if the shock inserts are the same on the front and rear on the S2.

They're different - the rears are a smaller diameter IIRC.

My understanding was 55mm struts front and rear on the S2, same as with the ur quattro. If is same as a ur the rears inserts have a shorter piston rod, so if use rears in the front can run shorter springs

rear on S2 is 50mm same as CQ
S2 front is 55mm CQ 52mm

So will the rear inserts from an avant fit the coupe and are the fronts the same as the avant.

avant rear set-up is totally different mate, but the fronts are the same
